Azerbaijan and Germany have a long-standing and successful partnership in many fields. Germany is one of Azerbaijan's most important trading partners in Europe and Azerbaijan is Germany's largest trading partner in the South Caucasus. German companies play an important role in the development of Azerbaijan's economy. There are also numerous cultural and educational projects and exchange programs between the two countries.
