Azerbaijani delegation attends 23rd Session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change

The 23rd session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Bonn, Germany, has started its work on November 13, 2017, with the participation of around 20 thousand delegates from 196 countries.

 On the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan is represented by a delegation led by Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Huseyn Bagirov.

 The opening ceremony of the conference was attended by the United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, the Prime Minister of Fiji Mr. Frank Bainimarama and other high-level representatives.

The 23rd session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change will continue until November 17, 2017.
