Governments of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania and Hungary signed agreement on strategic partnership in the field of green energy in Bucharest
On 17 December 2022 the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in Bucharest at the invitation of the President of Romania Klaus Iohannis. On the same day a plenary session was held in Bucharest on the occasion of the signing ceremony of the "Agreement on Strategic Partnership in the Development and Transfer of Green Energy between the Governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania and Hungary". The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, attended and addressed the plenary session. Then an "Agreement on Strategic Partnership in the Development and Transfer of Green Energy between the Governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania and Hungary" was signed. The agreement was signed by Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Nicolae Çuke, Prime Minister of Romania, Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia and Viktor Orban, Prime Minister of Hungary. Romanian President Klaus Iohannis and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen attended the signing ceremony.
