Azerbaijani Ambassador meets German-South Caucasus Parliamentary Group in the Bundestag
On 16 April 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Germany, Nasimi Aghayev, was invited to a working luncheon by the German-South Caucasus Parliamentary Group of the German Bundestag.
During the exchange with the group’s leadership and members, Ambassador Aghayev underscored the central importance of an intensive political dialogue and active parliamentary diplomacy for further deepening Azerbaijani-German relations. In this context, he particularly highlighted the role of reciprocal parliamentary visits as an important driver of trust and cooperation.
With regard to the South Caucasus, the Ambassador emphasized the growing significance of sustainable peace in the region. The consolidation of peace opens new prospects for stability, economic cooperation, and shared progress.
The interlocutors held a constructive exchange on bilateral relations and current regional developments, reaffirming their interest in intensifying dialogue and cooperation.
