Annual meetings of the Board and Members of the German Azerbaijan Forum were held in Berlin.

On July 5, 2018 annual meetings of the Board and Members of the German Azerbaijan Forum (DAF) were held at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Germany.

Mr. Hans Eberhard Schleyer, Head of the Board of Governors made an opening speech and presented the agenda of the meeting.

Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Federative Republic of Germany H.E. Mr. Ramin Hasanov welcomed the guests and provided information about political, economic situation and reforms undertaken in the country and latest developments in the region. Ambassador described the current level and future perspectives of relations between Azerbaijan and Germany and cooperation in the field of economy and trade. R.Hasanov outlined mutual visits between delegations of both countries, the transnational projects implemented by Azerbaijan and it’s participation in international transport corridors, tourism and business potential of Azerbaijan for German tourists and businessmen. Ambassador expressed satisfaction from the contribution DAF pays to the enhancement of relations in political, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.

The meeting of the forum was followed with a reception.
