Meeting of the South Caucasus Working Group of the German Eastern Business Association

The Meeting of the South Caucasus Working Group of the German Eastern Business Association was held on 11 June 2019 in Berlin.

This year’s meeting was devoted to Azerbaijan.

The representatives of the German Eastern Business Association, desk officers on Azerbaijan of the German Federal Chancellery, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy, Federal Foreign Office, as well as German private companies participated at the meeting.

The representatives of the Embassy participated and delivered a statement at the meeting. During the statement, the information about economic situation in Azerbaijan, implemented reforms, achieved results, developments in the relevant sectors, the country’s contribution to further strengthening of the regional connectivity in various areas, as well as Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict, its consequences and obstacles to the regional cooperation and overall development of the region was provided to the participants.

The various questions of the participants were answered after the statement.
