Azerbaijan represented at the Frankfurt International Book Fair in Germany

The Frankfurt Book Fair opened in Germany on the 20th of October 2021. Azerbaijan will be represented at the fair with its own stand this year as well. The fair will last until the 24th of October, 2021. The stand of Azerbaijan will present books and publications on statehood, history and culture of the country, as well as on the life and activity of the National Song Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev.

Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Germany Ramin Hasanov visited the Azerbaijani stand within the framework of the Frankfurt Book Fair.

Within the framework of the fair, an event was held to mark the 880th anniversary of Nizami Ganjavi. The event was opened by the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Germany Ramin Hasanov. In his speech, Hasanov spoke about the rich contribution of the great poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi to world literature. Head of the Department of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Akif Marifli, writer and publicist Orkhan Aras and Chairman of the Association of Azerbaijani-German Intellectuals Naiba Tural Nizami Ganjavi also spoke at the event. Nizami Ganjavi's works were read in Azerbaijani and German at the event.
